Volleyball Recap: Mt. Carmel Find Success

Mt. Carmel won the last time they faced Tolono Unity and things went their way on Saturday too. The Golden Aces came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 2-0.

Mt. Carmel can attribute much of their success to Mattie Armstrong, who had six digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Armstrong a new career-high.

The win got Mt. Carmel back to even at 6-6. As for Tolono Unity, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Mt. Carmel will take on Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Golden Aces surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tolono Unity, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Clinton on the 9th.
