Volleyball Recap: Burleson Comes Up Short on the Road Against Stephenville

Burleson kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees, falling 3-0. The Elks haven't had much luck with the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Stephenville pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Burleson will challenge Wakeland at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Stephenville, they will square off against Port Isabel at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
