Basketball Recap: Karsyn Tonche and Taylor Tonche Secure Win for Sterling

Sterling entered their tilt with Lamar on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Thunder 59-38. With the Tigers ahead 40-20 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Leading Sterling to victory were Taylor Tonche and Karsyn Tonche. Taylor posted 25 points, while Karsyn earned 17 points. Those 25 points gave Taylor a new career-high.

Sterling's record now sits at 3-1. As for Lamar, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Sterling and Berthoud will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
