Softball Game Preview: Grover Cleveland Presidents vs. Jamaica Beavers

On Tuesday, Grover Cleveland came up short against Townsend Harris and fell 16-12. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (ten), the Presidents still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jamaica, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let Edison get on the board and left with a 20-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Beavers have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jamaica's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Grover Cleveland, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
