Soccer Recap: Minuteman Regional Takes a Loss

Minuteman Regional came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Excel Academy Charter Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Excel Academy Charter this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in September.

Minuteman Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Excel Academy Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season.

Minuteman Regional has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Lynn Vo-Tech on the 17th. As for Excel Academy Charter, they will square off against Sandwich at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Excel Academy Charter are facing Sandwich at the right time seeing as Sandwich are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
