Football Game Preview: Windham Eagles vs. Bangor Rams

The Windham Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Bangor Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Windham is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: South Portland, who was ranked 14th at the time (Windham was ranked 20th). The Eagles took a hard 33-18 fall against the Red Riots on Friday.

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Bangor, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They blew past Lewiston, posting a 42-8 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Bangor now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Windham, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Windham strolled past Bangor in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 34-18. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
