Cascade Christian had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They strolled past the Sutherlin Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 44-28. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-31 back in January.

Cascade Christian pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.8 points over those games. As for Sutherlin, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Cascade Christian and Sutherlin should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Cascade Christian (ranked 27th) will meet St. Mary's (ranked 191st) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Sutherlin will square off against South Umpqua at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 148 places (69 vs. 217).
