Poolesville posted their biggest win since December 13, 2023 on Monday. Everything went their way against the Northwood Gladiators as the Poolesville Falcons made off with a 67-43 victory. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 38-36 win the Gladiators walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Poolesville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Seamus Lynch, who went 5 of 7 en route to 11 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. Alexavier Saunders was another key player, putting up 14 points along with five assists and four steals.

Lynch wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Poolesville was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive matches.

Poolesville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Northwood, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Poolesville has already played their next contest, a 47-46 victory against Clarksburg on the 29th. As for Northwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-44 defeat against Seneca Valley on the 31st.
