Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tucker Hileman and Wilson Huckeby Lead Freeland to Victory + How To Watch

Freeland strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They strolled past the Petoskey Northmen with points to spare, taking the game 69-54. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Northmen, too.

Leading Freeland to victory were Wilson Huckeby and Tucker Hileman. Huckeby posted 19 points and six assists, while Hileman shot 50% from the field to rack up 19 points and seven boards. Huckeby's afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Tristan Comer, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Freeland's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeland will face off against Gaylord at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Petoskey, they will challenge Boyne City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
