Recap: Design Tech Dragons vs. Oceana Sharks
This season hasn't been kind to the Design Tech Dragons, who are still winless after their seventh game. They suffered a rough 59-34 loss at the hands of Oceana on Friday. Design Tech has not had much luck with Oceana recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the loss, Design Tech still got an impressive performance from Luchi Tateishi, who scored nine points. Tateishi set a new season high mark in steals with two.
Design Tech's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Oceana, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Design Tech will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Basis Independent Silicon Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Oceana won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pacific Bay Christian at 2:45 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Pacific Bay Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
