Baseball Recap: Quitman Takes a Loss

Quitman fell victim to Pangburn and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 13-0 to the Pangburn Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Quitman dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Pangburn, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Quitman will challenge Mt. Vernon-Enola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Quitman has given up an average of 8.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Pangburn, they will head out to square off against Melbourne at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
