Basketball Game Preview: Tri-State Christian Crusaders vs. North East Indians

The Tri-State Christian Crusaders and the North East Indians will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Tri-State Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season.

Tri-State Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 67-36 win over Harford Christian. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season.

Grayson Coward had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Those 20 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was John Gabrielli, who posted nine points and eight assists.

Tri-State Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, North East came up short against Fallston on Thursday and fell 46-37. The match marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

North East dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Tri-State Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Everything came up roses for Tri-State Christian against North East in their previous meeting back in February, as the team secured a 69-41 win. Will Tri-State Christian repeat their success, or does North East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
