Basketball Game Preview: Robinson Rockets vs. Connally Cadets

The Robinson Rockets will venture away from home to square off against the Connally Cadets at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Robinson came up short against Lorena and fell 41-30. The loss continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Leopards: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Connally was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 53-48 to China Spring.

Robinson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Connally, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16.

Robinson came up short against Connally when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 55-43. Can Robinson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
