Softball Game Preview: Moorestown Quakers vs. Winslow Township Eagles

Moorestown is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Winslow Township a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Moorestown Quakers will host the Winslow Township Eagles at 3:45 p.m. Moorestown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Moorestown got the win against Seneca by a conclusive 15-7. The victory continues a trend for the Quakers in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.

Moorestown got a massive performance out of Mackenzie Seibel, who went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI Seibel has posted since back in May of 2024. Jaida Rodriguez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Moorestown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Winslow Township fell victim to Cherry Hill West and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Lions.

Winslow Township's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Moorestown, their win bumped their record up to 6-10-1.

Moorestown took their victory against Winslow Township in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 18-0 score. Do the Quakers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
