Community School of Davidson can attribute much of their success to Ty Sigler, who threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Sigler a new career-high in passer rating (153.3). Nixon Willis handled things on the ground, rushing for 85 yards.
Community School of Davidson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 339 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pine Lake Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on Lincoln Charter with a sharp 44-21 win on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pride as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Pine Lake Prep found their leader in sophomore Logan Pettit, who rushed for 191 yards and three scores while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.
Pine Lake Prep picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Community School of Davidson, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
