Volleyball Recap: Beecher Comes Up Short

Beecher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morrice Orioles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Orioles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Thursday.

Beecher's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Morrice, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Beecher will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Saginaw at 5:30 p.m. As for Morrice, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against International Academy on the 25th.
