Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rensselaer Central). They blew past the South Newton Rebels 16-5 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bombers considering their two-run performance the match before.

Rensselaer Central moved to 6-14 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. As for South Newton, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rensselaer Central will take on Tri-County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for South Newton, they will face off against North Newton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
