Volleyball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison lost against Sierra back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Chieftains by a score of 3-2.

Edison took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-10, 22-25, 26-28, 25-10, 15-10.

Brooke Gibson had a dynamite game For Sierra., getting 27 assists and ten digs. Those ten digs gave Gibson a new career-high.

Edison's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5. As for Sierra, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edison will face off against Caruthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sierra, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Torres at 6:00 p.m.
