Raleigh Charter kept up with NCSSM: Durham until halftime on Wednesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Unicorns never let the Phoenix get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for NCSSM: Durham, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Raleigh Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kennedy Jones, Ava Cummings, and Marilyn Martin.

The win (which was NCSSM: Durham's fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five games. As for Raleigh Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. NCSSM: Durham will square off against East Wake Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Raleigh Charter, they will challenge Franklin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Raleigh Charter will need to watch out since Franklin Academy have now posted at least four goals in their last 12 contests.
