Basketball Recap: Leslie Takes a Loss

Leslie lost against Grass Lake back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Leslie Blackhawks fell 63-51 to the Grass Lake Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 400th, while the Warriors are ranked 84th).

Leslie has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Grass Lake, the win keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

Looking ahead, Leslie will be playing at home against Whitmore Lake at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Grass Lake, they will square off against Columbia Central at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
