Mount Olive lost to Sparta back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Marauders won by a set and slipped past the Spartans 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Marauders.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Mount Olive who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 19-25, 25-15.

Leading Mount Olive to victory were Genessa Baltazar and Jazmine Laroche. Baltazar had 11 digs and five assists, while Laroche had seven digs and one assist. That's the most assists Baltazar has posted over her last seven matches. Olivia Drucks also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Mount Olive's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Sparta, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
