Volleyball Game Preview: Animo Robinson Monarchs vs. University Prep Value Wolves

The Animo Robinson Monarchs will challenge the University Prep Value Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Animo Robinson is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Animo Venice just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2.

Animo Robinson actually scored more points across those five sets (107-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 17-25, 17-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Meanwhile, University Prep Value waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant University Prep Value was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-13, 25-14.

University Prep Value's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. As for Animo Robinson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
