Football Recap: Rockford East Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Rockford East's offense. They were dealt a 46-0 loss at the hands of the Belvidere Bucs on Friday. The defeat leaves the E-Rabs still looking for their first win of the season.

Juan Cer was nothing short of spectacular for Belvidere: he rushed for 142 yards and two scores. Cer's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. Devonne Taborn also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Rockford East's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Belvidere, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rockford East will take on rival Rockford Auburn at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Belvidere is set to challenge their familiar foe Boylan Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
