Football Recap: Vintage Takes Down San Leandro in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Vintage had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the San Leandro Pirates by a score of 25-15 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Crushers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

San Leandro lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Giovani De Anda, who rushed for 86 yards and one score on only seven carries, and also picked up 51 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Deyar Crayton, who rushed for 86 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

Vintage's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for San Leandro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Coming up, Vintage will challenge Ukiah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Leandro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
