Foresthill faced Futures in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wildfires were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Knights. The victory continues a trend for Foresthill in their matchups with Futures: they've now won nine in a row.

Carly Clarke and Amy Saxelby scored all five of Foresthill's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Foresthill's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three games. As for Futures, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8-2.
