Basketball Recap: Payette Comes Up Short

Payette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 62-23 loss at the hands of the McCall-Donnelly Vandals. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-34 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McCall-Donnelly to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lexie Arnold, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Izzy Tinney, who put up 13 points.

Payette's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for McCall-Donnelly, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Payette nor McCall-Donnelly have any future games scheduled.
