Basketball Game Preview: St. Helens Lions vs. Scappoose Indians

St. Helens hasn't had much luck against Scappoose recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The St. Helens Lions will challenge the Scappoose Indians at 7:00 p.m. Scappoose took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Helens, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, St. Helens didn't have too much trouble with Tillamook as they won 71-54. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Scappoose ended up a good deal behind Seaside on Tuesday and lost 54-40. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Scappoose's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for St. Helens, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

St. Helens lost to Scappoose on the road by a decisive 56-40 margin in their previous meeting on Thursday. Can St. Helens avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
