Softball Recap: Armstrong Comes Up Short

Armstrong lost against Milford back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 5-4. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Armstrong's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Milford, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Armstrong will welcome Hoopeston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cornjerkers have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Milford, they will challenge Watseka at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
