Softball Recap: Lee Williams Takes a Loss

Lee Williams lost against River Valley back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lee Williams Volunteers took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the River Valley Dust Devils. The Volunteers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vanessa Whiterock made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Raeleigh Pugh, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Lee Williams' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for River Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Lee Williams will welcome Dysart at 3:45 p.m. on March 17th. As for River Valley, they will take on Empire in a tournament on Saturday.
