Volleyball Recap: Kake Comes Up Short

The Kake Thunderbirds didn't have quite enough to beat Varsity Opponent on Thursday and fell 3-2.

While Kake ultimately came up short, they really made Varsity Opponent work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 19-25, 20-25, 25-19, 15-11.

Kake's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Kake has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Gustavus on the 17th. As for Varsity Opponent, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against LKY on the 16th.
