Softball Recap: Albuquerque Takes a Loss

Albuquerque lost against Atrisco Heritage Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 8-5 to the Jaguars. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Albuquerque saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raquel Waldrop, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two doubles, and two RBI. Another was Luna Diaz, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Albuquerque's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Atrisco Heritage Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Albuquerque will take on rival West Mesa at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Atrisco Heritage Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Los Lunas at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
