The Roncalli Jets will face off against the Two Rivers Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Saturday, Roncalli needed a bit of extra time to put away Manitowoc Lutheran. They put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 11-4 victory. Considering the Jets have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Kory Wilke tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Roncalli is 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 4-7 otherwise.
Roncalli hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 2-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Two Rivers hadn't done well against Chilton recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Raiders blew past the Tigers 12-2. That ten-run margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.
Noah Shillcox made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Derek Klinkner and Kole Klein did most of the damage at the plate: Klinkner got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Klein went 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. What's more, Klinkner posted three hits, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Odin Clem, who went 3-for-5 with one run and one RBI.
Roncalli's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Two Rivers, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
Roncalli came out on top in a nail-biter against Two Rivers in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 4-2. Will the Jets repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
