A Season-Best Effort from Cash Keys Leads Fort Gibson over Skiatook

On Thursday, Fort Gibson got the W thanks in part to Cash Keys playing the best football he has all season. Keys rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 73 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Fort Gibson pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Keys and Fort Gibson will square off against Catoosa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Catoosa found a leader in Brogan O'Neal as the team took down Oologah on Thursday. O'Neal did his part (and then some), throwing for 227 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 62 yards for the 'W'.

This year, O'Neal has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 187.3 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 8.56 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 95.76 passer rating.

Big Game from Delong As Cushing Fell 42-21

While Cushing might've come up empty on Thursday, Wyatt Delong wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Delong was still balling out as he picked up 112 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards.

For the season, Delong has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 58.9 receiving yards per game.

Luke Sutton Delivers Best Effort of Season

Sadly, Luke Sutton posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Skiatook over Fort Gibson on Thursday. Sutton rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns.

Skiatook is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. Sutton and Skiatook will welcome Oologah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
