Baseball Game Preview: Ledford Panthers vs. Southeast Guilford Falcons

The Ledford Panthers will face off against the Southeast Guilford Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Ledford was able to grind out a solid win over Asheboro, taking the game 4-1. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Blue Comets: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Southeast Guilford won against Western Guilford on Friday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Falcons beat Northwest Guilford by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Southeast Guilford's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Ledford, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Ledford took their win against Southeast Guilford when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 9-3 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
