Coastal Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the San Diego Jewish Academy Lions as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Coastal Academy was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13, 25-12.

Coastal Academy was led to victory by Mariela Cordoba and Amelia Wilson. Cordoba had seven digs and four aces, while Wilson had six digs and two aces. Wilson has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Coastal Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matchups.

Coastal Academy's record is now 11-20. As for San Diego Jewish Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coastal Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Orange Glen on the 23rd. San Diego Jewish Academy has also already played their next contest (against Escondido Adventist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
