Recap: Dunbar Tigers vs. Fort Myers Green Wave
With a playoff game on the line, the Dunbar Tigers rose to the challenge on Friday. They secured a 21-17 W over Fort Myers. Winning may never get old, but Dunbar sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Dunbar can attribute much of their success to Chris Singleton, who rushed for 105 yards on only 12 carries.
Dunbar's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Kyeran Garcia and his three sacks.
Dunbar is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Fort Myers, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
Dunbar will head out on the road to face off against Golden Gate at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Golden Gate has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 323 points over their last seven matchups. Fort Myers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
