Flag Football Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View fell victim to Sunnyside and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Mountain Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 14th).

Mountain View is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Sunnyside, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Mountain View will square off against Flowing Wells at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sunnyside, they will face off against Desert Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Blue Devils their first taste of in-conference action this season.
