Basketball Recap: North Lamar Comes Up Short

North Lamar has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 65-52 to the Pleasant Grove Hawks on Tuesday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 53-36.

North Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 21-10. As for Pleasant Grove, their record is now 14-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the North Lamar Panthers challenge the Sulphur Springs Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sulphur Springs has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 179 points over their last three games. As for Pleasant Grove, they will take on Paris at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
