Volleyball Recap: Choctaw Comes Up Short

After flying high against Putnam City West on Thursday, Choctaw came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westmoore Jaguars on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellowjackets of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Choctaw's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Westmoore, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Choctaw wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Yukon on the 22nd. As for Westmoore, they will welcome Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
