Basketball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

If Centennial was feeling good fresh off their 74-51 takedown of Gadsden last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Centennial Hawks were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 63-62 to the Las Cruces Bulldawgs. The Hawks have struggled against the Bulldawgs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Las Cruces, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Centennial nor Las Cruces have any future games scheduled.
