Basketball Recap: Mamou Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Mamou Demons came up short against the Jennings Bulldogs and fell 41-30. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mamou's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Jennings, they moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Mamou won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Beau Chene at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Beau Chene will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mamou surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jennings, they will host North Vermilion at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Vermilion's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Jennings' offense will have their work cut out for them.
