Football Recap: Grimsley Find Success + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Grimsley had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 24-14 victory over the Clayton Comets. The Whirlies haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Despite the loss, Clayton still got an impressive performance from Aiden Smalls, who rushed for 167 yards and two scores while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 108 yards on seven of 15 attempts. Smalls' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 131 rushing yards.

Grimsley's victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Clayton, they moved to 12-3 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Grimsley nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
