Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Overton). They blew past the Kingsbury Falcons, posting a 40-6 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wolverines needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Overton's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-5. As for Kingsbury, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Overton is set to take on their familiar foe Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. Meanwhile, Kingsbury will face off against rival Memphis Central at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
