Show Low's game  on Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  17-5 margin over the Estrella Foothills Wolves. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cougars needed considering they were shutout in their previous   match.
 Aspyn Clark was a major factor no matter where she played. She  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Clark was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Rylee Wyatt looked comfortable as she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 Back at the plate, Show Low let  Addisyn Clark and  Avery Ervien run wild. Clark  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple, while  Ervien  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tatum Townsend, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Show Low was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Estrella Foothills only posted a  batting average of  .231.
Show Low now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Estrella Foothills,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 Coming up, Show Low will challenge Chandler at 12:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Estrella Foothills, they will face off against Dobson at 10:45  a.m.  on Friday. Estrella Foothills has given up an average of 18.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
