Lincolnview has gone 7-2 against Hicksville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Lancers will be playing at home against the Aces at 11:30 a.m. Hicksville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincolnview, who comes in off a win.
On Thursday, Lincolnview got the win against Lima Central Catholic by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lancers.
Lincolnview never let Lima Central Catholic on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-22.
Lincolnview found their leader in freshman MaKayla Marsee, who had ten digs and one assist.
Meanwhile, Hicksville came up short against Ayersville on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Aces have struggled against the Pilots recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Hicksville was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Ayersville work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-9, 25-14.
Lincolnview's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Hicksville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's contest: Lincolnview has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.4 aces per game. However, it's not like Hicksville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
