Football Recap: Palm Harbor University Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Jake Rennert and Ben Sathaporn

Palm Harbor University lost against East Lake back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hurricanes fell 35-24 to the Eagles. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Palm Harbor University had strong showings from Ben Sathaporn, who rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns, and Jake Rennert, who gained 111 total yards. Sathaporn has become a key player for the Hurricanes: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

Eli Millian was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 220 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in one score on the ground.

Palm Harbor University now has a losing record of 3-4. As for East Lake, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Palm Harbor University has already played their next contest, a 14-3 win against Boca Ciega on the 17th. As for East Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 48-10 loss against Clearwater on the 17th.
