Soccer Game Preview: Covington vs. Jackson South Side

Covington had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt Bolton last Thursday. Covington blew past Bolton 7-1. The victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Jackson South Side sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Haywood last Tuesday.

Covington now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Jackson South Side, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Covington was able to grind out a solid win over Jackson South Side in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Covington since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
