Football Game Preview: Harrison Panthers vs. Pueblo South Colts + How To Watch

The Harrison Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Pueblo South Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Harrison is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Harrison's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Discovery Canyon on Saturday. They came up short against the Thunder, falling 21-0.

Meanwhile, Pueblo South never let their opponents score on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pueblo Centennial 44-0. Considering the Colts have won four contests by more than 22 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Harrison better keep an eye on Caeden Herrera. He was instrumental in Pueblo South's win, throwing for 135 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Herrera a new career-high in passer rating (156.3). Jake Pisciotta also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Pueblo South, racking up 18 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Pisciotta, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Pueblo South's defense and their 3.5 sacks. Chace Hurley was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up 2.5 himself.

The win made it two in a row for Pueblo South and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.5 points over those games. As for Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Harrison was taken down by Pueblo South 42-6 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Hurley, who rushed for 136 yards and one score on only eight carries. Now that the Panthers know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
