Volleyball Game Preview: Curtis Vikings vs. Bonney Lake Panthers

The Curtis Vikings will take on the Bonney Lake Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Curtis lost 3-0 to Emerald Ridge on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Vikings have suffered against the Jaguars since November 23, 2019.

Meanwhile, Bonney Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Graham-Kapowsin.

Curtis' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Bonney Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Curtis took their win against Bonney Lake in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
