Baseball Game Preview: Akron-Westfield Westerners vs. George-Little Rock Mustangs

Akron-Westfield has gone a perfect 3-0 against George-Little Rock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Westerners will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Akron-Westfield's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so George-Little Rock's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Tuesday, Akron-Westfield came up short against Lawton-Bronson and fell 7-3.

Meanwhile, George-Little Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 21-2 to Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union.

George-Little Rock's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Akron-Westfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.
